Our God is limitless
“He said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go look!” And when they found out, they said, “Five [loaves], and two fish.” Then Jesus commanded them all to sit down by groups on the green grass. They sat down in groups of hundreds and of fifties [so that the crowd resembled an orderly arrangement of colorful garden plots].
Taking the five loaves and two fish, He looked up to heaven and said a blessing [of praise and thanksgiving to the Father]. Then He broke the loaves and [repeatedly] gave them to the disciples to set before the people; and He divided up the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied. And the disciples picked up twelve full baskets of the broken pieces [of the loaves], and of the fish. Those who ate the loaves were five thousand men [not counting the women and children].”
MARK 6:38-44 AMP
God is not a God that belongs in a box. The power that He holds is breathtaking. We have to stop putting limits on Him, His Word and His power. There are many experiences where God has shown us that He is a God that can do exceedingly, abundantly and all that we ask for. He’s a God that gives us all the desires of our heart according to His will. He’s the God that grants us our desires but gives us more than we asked for or even thought of. He’s the God that works out every fine detail of dreams and purpose adding so much favor, prosperity and endless opportunities. This is the kind of God we serve.
This is the God I say YES to with my life. This is the God that I live a life surrendering to because I know that He knows each and every plan and assignment that’s a part of my destiny, from beginning to end. This is the kind of God I honor and bless because I realize my need for Him.
Start thanking God for who He is.
"Thank you God for your overflow. Thank you for being so BIG! Thank you for being so overwhelming with your endless love and power. Thank you for your faithfulness because even when the world says no, You say yes. Even when it seems and looks in impossible, I still trust because Your word never returns void. Thank You for You."
