I was riding in the car and I responded negatively to a situation my husband and me were discussing. Then I began to think negative thoughts due to the negative statement I stated. God quickly convicted me and said “Danielle how you respond, how you live is ministry. Your life is a ministry”
Sometimes we focus on the big stage and having a large platform as being a ministry, which can leave people with no platform thinking that ministry isn’t part of their life. We sometimes focus on our brands, careers, platforms, social media or stressing to get a word out to Gods people. Trying to figure out, plan and build marketing strategies. God stopped me in my tracks today and told me “Danielle your life is ministry”. How you live, walk in purpose, how you think, how you feel, treat people or speak...all of that is ministry. Your life is ministry. You don’t have to be a famous influencer to know that your life and purpose is ministry. You can be in neighborhoods walking around with a mic sharing the gospel, and that’s ministry. You can mentor one person and that’s ministry. You can only be led to serve in my church, and that’s ministry. You can be led to only volunteer in the community or achieve so many things in your career or business, that’s ministry!
>> The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted, and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.” – Isaiah 61:1
>> “For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps.”
1 Peter 2:21 AMP
>> “Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; and walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others], just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and sacrifice to God [slain for you, so that it became] a sweet fragrance.”
Ephesians 5:1-2 AMP
One of the best ways to share your faith is simply by being an example for Christ. Your life can be a true ministry. But it works both ways. People will only be interested in what you say when they see it evident in your life. People will quickly spot whether your spiritual life is authentic or phony. The worst thing you can do as a Believer is to say one thing and do another. If you aren’t committed to applying God's principles in your own life, you will not only be ineffective, but will be seen as insincere. How you live your life is ministry and an effective tool for sharing your faith with others.
